Marshmallows: A Metaphor For Jannah?
// May 25th, 2009 // Blog
A TED video explaining how self-discipline can lead to success. Warning: the following film contains hilarious clips of kids trying their hardest not to eat free marshmallows. Wear some waterproof pants, if possible!

LOL @ “we have to watch this little girl when she grows up…she must not go into banking, for example!” That was too funny! I was wondering, you know where he said 100% of the kids who had self-discipline achieved success? Is it possible for one to lose self-discipline at some point? And if so, why does it happen? If not, then I’m the sole anomaly :(
Great video, thank you for sharing!
cuuuuuuuuuuuuute
those kids are cute.
and btw, adults are not doing any better than those kids.
LOL
I was actually waiting for that marshmallow to fly up that kids nostril man….she was sniffing tooooooooooo hard….
@Digital Nomad: I’m confused. Did you do the marshmallow test when you were younger? How are you the anomaly? Besides, it depends on one’s definition of success.
@HalalBuzz: Agreed.
@Umm Salihaa: The sniffing clips nearly killed me. Too funny!
