I saw these on Flickr the other day. I LOVE them! You are a VEWY good photographer MashaAllah.
Between Organica, you, Shaz and Unique Muslimah, I have discovered that yes, frozen water aka snow can also be photographed in a manner that makes it look exciting and interesting, LOL. :D
Yes, that was me pops. He actually asked me to take photos of him posing in the garden! But he was after the usual “stare at the camera, with a goofy grin” type of photography. Not my ‘artistic’ blog shots. He wasn’t very impressed with the above.
Snow’s so lovely on the first day, on the second day it gets all ciky and slushy.

We had fights and fun in the snow but my cousin kept telling us to be careful not to throw snow his way since he wanted to take photos of us in the snow- there’s always one who wants the make the memories of the moment without living in the moment.
:)
I was wondering, I recalled that yougave us a promise of posting some thoughts on a debate that you attended in London by Sh. haitham haddad and Imam Suhaib Webb? I know you didn’t give a time limit, but I would be really really really interested to hear as to what the gist of the points covered by each speaker – and if you feel appropriate even any conclusions that the audience seemed to take from the evening.
The reason for my request is that I didn’t mange to attend it myself. In fact I didn’t even get to hear about it until pretty late.
I’d really appreciate it. Thanks and may Allah reward you kindly.
We were very lucky not to experience the blizzard weather most of Europe had just few weeks. In Germany, not far where I live, the temperatur reached below -30oC. That was very close.
@shah: Oh… that was so long ago. I can barely remember my thoughts… though a couple of ponderings do come to mind. If they become something more solid, I’ll share them here, insha’Allah.
@gess: Alhamdulillah! The weather is dominating the news here. It seems to be far worse elsewhere in the UK.
A British man has been held in prison for SEVEN YEARS without a trial to prove his guilt. Not in a secret prison in a far away land ruled by an oppressive dictator: right here, in merry old, democratic, rule of law, innocent till proven guilty, England. It doesn't matter your religion, or skin colour: if you believe in due process, you will sign this pe […]

Sigh…

I like ice when it’s inside the fridge. I don’t like it much outside.

Manas… spoil sport. :)

Alhamdulillah,
So far no snowstorm in Denmark :D

Alhamdulillah.
Lovely pics! I’m glad that we can drive to the snow from San Francisco – and then leave it behind upon our return :)
Awwww. :)
