Important Note for Sisters

Anonymouse An anonymous commentator (how embarrassing a mistake?) left a handy tip on my last entry about how we can easily complete the Qur'an during Ramadan by reading four pages after every fardh prayer:
600 pages in the mushaf…
600/30 = 20 pages a day
20/5 = 4 pages after each salat
BUT as women, this is not going to work because (depending on your own biology) many of us will not be able to recite the Quran for an average of 7 days during the coming month.
So what I plan to do is aim to complete the Quran in 20 days instead, inshā’Allāh. It works out at 6 pages after every salat – only 2 more than originally suggested. Alhamdulillah!
While we're on the subject of the monthly visitor… What advice do my female readers have to offer about how to effectively keep your emaan going during that dreaded week of isolation, when we're not fasting & praying with everyone else?
