misspecs… hmm, if you mean the PhD in general, then I am still getting used to the idea. The other day, I signed off my first e-mail as “Dr ….” and I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat. I couldn’t believe I was allowed to write that!

This weekend at the Expo, we were doing some filming, and my talented camera man kept introducing me as DOCTOR so n’ so, which embarrassed me most of the time. But on a few occasions I did actually use it to gain more influence, like at the “The Sound of Reason” press conference (which was originally meant to be the Outlandish press conference)… haha.

However, that was my main intention for sticking with the PhD – not to show off my title – but so that people would take me more seriously when I needed to achieve some kind of good for the community, insha’Allah. And you know what? I think it works! Alhamdulillah…

So, how about something on the days before and after ijaza? How does it feel now? :)

i gots an ijaza in desi food … not actually cooking fine cuisine … but more along the eating side of things.
