What is ISLAM and Who are the MUSLIMS?

// November 27th, 2006 // Blog

IMHO an excellent article explaining the root philosophy of Islam in a clear, coherent manner, māshā’Allāh. Please read carefully, with thought.

There is no way that I or any other Christian parent could accept those under our care being corrupted by a cult founded by a dirty old man who if he were alive nowadays would be either in jail or on the sex offenders’ register.

Try googling for “Mohammed pedophile” to see the extent of the hostility to your Da’wa and taquiya among decent people.

  2. iMuslim says:

    Dear Anon,

It pains me to say it, but thank you for your comment.

By Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) was not a paedophile – and yes, i am fully aware of his marriage to Ayesha (may Allah be please with her). Nor was he a sex-o-holic or any of the other disgusting labels that people of this “progressive” society have labeled him to be. A society that is breeding more and more real sex pests everyday…

You call yourself Christian but by slandering an innocent man you have no respect for Jesus and his teachings, peace be upon him.

So-called-Christian missionaries get me so worked up with their websites dedicated to lies and foul play, they don’t deserve to be associated with such a noble man. They are spoiling his good name though he is high above what they do.

All this nastiness because Islam preaches God is One, with no partners. I wonder whether they resort to such tactics because they feel threatened by the fact it is the fastest growing religion in the world?

The additional fact that you completely ignored the content of the article only shows you would rather follow what other people tell you about this “cult” [that one in five people happen to follow], then go to the sources and use the brain God blessed you with.

Why not read something written by Muslims who are not allowed to lie about their Prophet?

It was narrated that ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Do not tell lies about me. Whoever tells lies about me, let him enter the Fire.’” [Al-Bukhari]

The least you can do is show some decency and respect. Is that too difficult? Or do i need to quote some verses from the Gospels?

One last question for you my Christian friend: how old was Mary when she was supposedly betrothed to Joseph?

May God guide you and keep your tongue safe from despicable utterances.

salaam! thanks so much for linking my blog. i appreciate it a lot. and yeah, if anyone accepts ISLAM with both of our efforts, then inshaAllah we get the reward far more than we can ever imagined. but always remember that we are only to share the message as clearly and as beautifully as we can. it is only Allah alone who guides. may Allah reward you on your efforts sister.

we are only to share the message as clearly and as beautifully as we can

    I’ll try, inshallah!

I just have to learn to control my temper and bite my tongue…

    Hot-headed female alert! haha

May Allah make it easy for all of us. Ameen.

    Wa’salam

    Moderated comment by anonymous:

[first paragraph deleted due to vileness of statement]

Is it true, or is it false, that if your ‘prophet’ Mohammed were living nowadays in the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom, he would be liable for conviction for statutory child rape (a child under the age of 13 is deemed incapable of consenting to sexual penetration)?

Simple question. Simple YES/NO answer will do, or an explanation why the question is invalid.

  7. iMuslim says:

    Anonymous,

Thanks to the filthy vocabulary of self-professed “Christians” such as yourself, i have decided to reinstate comment moderation. Final warning, exhibit some common courtesy else i have will no qualms about rejecting any future comments.

I would have thought it only fair that you should have answered my question first – the one you conveniently ignored: “How old was Mary when she was supposedly betrothed to Joseph?”.

In any case, your question is valid but flawed:

    1) Muhammad didn’t live in 21st century UK, he lived in 7th century Saudi Arabia – so i hardly see why he should be judged by laws which were only set in place in the last century. Where have all the concerned Christians been for the past 1,900 years?

    2) Muhammad never engaged in sexual intercourse with any woman outside of marriage. So any accusations that he abused random girls is a bare-faced lie. May God curse the ones who say this.

    3) At the time of consummation all his wives were physically mature – i.e., they had reached, or were way past puberty. In the days of old, puberty (i.e., menarche, development of breasts, pubic hair, etc) was the only sign to the community that a woman was ready to marry – not her age. In fact this is still the case in most countries wrt sexual activity in spite of the age of consent. Hence the UK having the highest rate of teenage pregnancy in Europe – i doubt most of these young girls are married.

    4) Ayesha (the wife you are questioning me on) was the only virgin that Muhammad married. All his other wives had been married previously, and were either widows or divorcees.

    5) Muhammad married his first wife, Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) when he was 25. She was a divorcee 15 years his senior. She proposed to him upon realising his noble character and he accepted. He married no-one else until after she died a few years after Muhammad received Prophethood, even though polygamy (to more than four wives) was common practice in pre-Islamic times. Muhammad remained a widower for a while before he married his second wife who was similar in age to him. Then he married Ayesha – and as i said above she did not live with him until she had reached physical maturity.

    6) Ayesha, her parents, her family and the entire community, both Muslim & non-Muslim had no complaints about her marriage to Muhammad. This includes the Jews of Madinah and the Christians of surrounding areas. Once again, where were all the concerned “People of the Book” during this episode?

    6) Ayesha lived for many years after the death of her only husband. During this time she narrated over TWO THOUSAND hadith – not one of them contains a single bad word against the Prophet Muhammad. If anything many illustrate the beautiful relationship they had, and she would often refer to him as “my beloved”.

If Muhammad was such a pervert, why wasn’t his first wife an immature little girl? Why weren’t all his wives immature little girls?

Because he wasn’t a pervert – he was an upright gentleman, and if i had a husband even 10% the man he was, i would be the happiest wife on Earth guaranteed.

Now that i have responded to your question, i would kindly request you read some real information about Muhammad (peace be upon him).

I pray that we are both guided towards the truth and away from all sources of lies and evil.

    Best wishes,

    iMuslim

Just a note to any Christians reading.

I hope my replies to “Anonymous” above did not seem like i was attacking you guys.

To the contrary, i was attacking those people who call themselves Christians, but then act in the most un-Christian of ways.

I love Jesus – just as all Muslims should love him (peace be upon him). And just as i get upset when certain Muslims misbehave and shine a bad light on Islam, i also get upset when a minority of Christians act in an unGodly way, and thus undermine the good teachings of Jesus, because he was a great man.

So please accept my humble apologies for any offence.

    Best wishes,

    Me
